PETIT PICOTIN, as Data Controller, undertakes to comply with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (GDPR) and Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended.
1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

2. What data do we collect?
The term "Data" refers to any personal information that can be used to identify you as an individual and that you provide to the Data Controller in order to register on the Site to create an account, receive information or place an online order.
Only the data necessary for the proper execution of our e-commerce activity and retail sales of items and services offered on the website www.petitpicotin.com are collected.
The personal data we collect includes:

Creating an account on the Site requires the creation of a password. This password is encrypted and known only to you. It is not possible for us to access it. If you forget your password, a link allowing you to set a new password will be sent to your contact email.

4. Who is your data intended for?
The personal data collected is processed by authorized internal PETIT PICOTIN employees to provide you with the services you request and in accordance with the defined purposes.
PETIT PICOTIN undertakes not to sell your personal data to third parties.
PETIT PICOTIN may transfer your personal data to certain service providers and partners who help it provide and improve its services, such as:
• Logistics and delivery service providers (carriers, couriers),

5. How long do we keep your data?
As a principle, unless otherwise required by law, we do not keep your data beyond the period strictly necessary for the purposes described above and this period varies depending on the purpose of processing.
The retention periods are as follows:
- Prospect data (persons who have never made a purchase) is kept for 3 years after the last contact from the prospect;
- Customer data is kept for 3 years from the last purchase; at the end of these 3 years, an email will be sent asking if the customer wishes to continue receiving commercial prospecting. In case of no response or negative response, the customer's data will be permanently deleted or anonymized.
- Purchase invoices are kept for 10 years.
- Payment Data: retention of your payment details until payment certification and completion of relevant administrative and accounting formalities concerning your right of withdrawal and the conditions applied to dispute the payment.
- Audience measurement, targeted advertising and social network sharing cookies are stored on the customer's device for a period of 13 months;
6. What are your rights?
In application of Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, any natural person whose data has been collected has the option of exercising the following rights:
- A right of access
- A right of rectification
- A right to object to the processing of their data and to have their data erased
- A right to object to profiling
- A right to restriction of processing
- A right to data portability
The Customer may also formulate directives relating to the retention, erasure and communication of their personal data after their death in accordance with Article 40-1 of Law 78-17 of 6 January 1978. These directives may be general or specific.
Finally, the Customer has the option of withdrawing their consent at any time.

The request must indicate the surname, first name, email, and if possible the customer reference.
After verifying your identity, PETIT PICOTIN will provide a response within 1 month of the exercise of the right. In certain cases, related to the complexity of the request or the number of requests, this period may be extended by 2 months.
These rights may in certain cases provided for by regulations be subject to exceptions.
In the event of no response or an unsatisfactory response, the person concerned has the option of contacting the supervisory authority on data protection (CNIL: www.cnil.fr).
7. How do we protect your data?
In accordance with Article 35 of Law 78-17 of 6 January 1978, PETIT PICOTIN undertakes to respect the security and confidentiality of data.
PETIT PICOTIN undertakes to take technical precautions to preserve the security of personal data and in particular to prevent them from being distorted, damaged or communicated to unauthorized third parties.
We ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data by implementing enhanced protection through the use of specific technical and organizational security measures aimed at preventing your personal data from being used illegally or fraudulently.
We take particular care to ensure that your personal data is not disclosed, distorted, damaged/altered or that unauthorized third parties do not have access to it.

8. Commercial Prospecting
PETIT PICOTIN uses your contact details to send you targeted advertising, particularly by email, postal mail, or SMS.
PETIT PICOTIN complies with the rules set out by Directive 2002/58/EC of 12 July 2002, which requires the prior express consent of the customer to send commercial prospecting by electronic means (email or SMS).
PETIT PICOTIN will not send you personalized solicitations by email or SMS if you have not consented to it.
There is an exception when the Customer, without having given prior consent, may nevertheless be approached if they are already a customer of PETIT PICOTIN and the purpose of the prospecting is to offer similar products or services.
In all cases, the customer has the option of objecting to receiving these solicitations by performing the following actions:
- For email, by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in each email;
- For SMS, by sending a STOP SMS to the number indicated in it;
- By contacting customer service.
9. Our cookie management
