our products?
Step 1: we dream,
we get inspired, we listen to you
Our first source of inspiration is you!
We observe the real lives of children and their parents. We talk, we ask you questions, we read your feedback. Your insights are precious — they feed each of our ideas. We let them mature, we blend the wishes and we imagine THE product. From all this, the year's collection plan is born.
Step 2: we draw,
we sew, we test
Each product is drawn on a technical sheet that lists the details, the materials, the colors… Once the design is finalized, we discuss with our manufacturers in Portugal, trusted partners since the beginning.
We then receive a prototype that we put to the (tough) test: the famous crash test! When it's validated, and certified "real life," off to the lab for compliance testing.
Step 3: finding
the perfect name
It's our little tradition. Each product has a name that suits it perfectly : Gaston the ball, Marceau the backpack, Paulette the toiletry bag…
When the name is found, the product truly comes to life. We can launch production and imagine it soon in your home.
Step 4: let's start
production
We make just what's needed — not too much, not too little.
We anticipate, we adjust, we learn.
And thanks to your ever-loyal orders (and a few years of experience), we avoid dormant stock and unsold items.
That's also our way of thinking sustainably.
Step 5: time for the photoshoot
It's always a special moment for us.
This is where everything comes together: the artistic direction, the story we want to tell, the emotion we want to convey. It's also often the first encounter between our new items and the "outside world" — and every time, the magic happens!
Step 6: the final touch
It's at this precise moment that each product becomes truly unique.
With a first name, a nickname, a sweet word: each personalization is done in our workshop, with a very special care and craftsmanship.
Step 7: The (high)
quality control
Because we only have one chance to make a (very) good impression — especially when it's a gift — all products are carefully examined before being shipped.
Finishes, stitching, material… nothing escapes us!
Step 8:
Boxed with love
This last step is our favorite! While packing your orders, we discover your selections, we see your personalizations… So we imagine our products in your home for a moment, and it fills us with joy!
We put all our heart into it, we take care, because the unboxing is also part of the experience and we want it to be perfect!
