Printable spring coloring pages for children

Spring is here and it's the perfect time to bring out the pencils! Printable coloring pages are a simple activity that children always love. Flowers, animals or funny little drawings… they'll be able to let their imagination run wild, and you can enjoy a quiet moment together with them.

Why offer coloring pages in spring

Coloring pages aren't just for fun. They help children focus, let their imagination run wild, and notice all the little wonders of spring: flowers opening up, birds singing, butterflies drifting by… It's also a little quiet moment to breathe, while sharing a lovely time with them, watching their drawings come to life. It's also a chance to laugh together, chat a little, and discover what they really love to color. And each drawing becomes a little colorful memory you can keep or proudly display at home.

For a successful coloring session

Step 1: Choose and print your favorite coloring pages

First of all, you need to select the drawings your children will love. Flowers, butterflies, little animals… there's something for everyone! Download them and print them out.

The little bonus: Print them in multiple copies — children love to start over or color several versions of the same drawing.

Step 2: Prepare the creative supplies

Colored pencils, markers, pastels… having a pencil case well stocked is really important so children can bring their drawings to life just as they imagine them. The more choices they have, the more they can experiment and have fun with colors and details. You can also add some stickers, stamps or foam stickers to vary textures and bring a little extra touch, which makes the activity even more fun. The idea is to give them the chance to try things out, mix colors, and let their creativity run wild.

Step 3: Set up a cozy coloring corner

Find a quiet, bright spot at your child's height. With the sun coming back, why not make the most of the garden, the balcony, or even a little corner by the window? The idea is for them to feel comfortable and free to color however they like. Nothing complicated — just a little space where they can focus, have fun and let their imagination speak.

Step 4: Showcase and celebrate their creations

Once the coloring page is finished, why not showcase your children's creations? On the fridge, a small dedicated wall, or even framed in their room — each drawing becomes a little exhibition. It's a simple way to show them that their work matters, and at the same time, you keep lovely colorful memories.
