Printable labels for school supplies

Back to school is just around the corner and, with it, the famous "labeling everything" mission! Notebooks, binders, pencils… within just a few days, the home desk turns into a full-on preparation workshop. To help you save a little time (and a few headaches), we've designed some lovely printable school supply labels, completely free.

Why label school supplies?

Every year, dozens of school supplies look identical. Between two matching pencil cases or pens of the same color, it's very easy for a mix-up to happen in class. Adding a label makes it easier to find lost items, avoid accidental swaps between classmates, help teachers quickly identify objects, and teach children responsibility by learning to recognize their belongings. Just a few minutes are enough to prepare for a much smoother start to the school year!

We've created a back-to-school label template that is both practical and lovely, true to the Petit Picotin universe. The PDF file is completely free and ready to print at home. You can write your child's first name on them before sticking them on: notebooks, binders, books, book covers, rulers, clothing labels… simply everything that risks changing hands!

What about items that are already personalized?

Good news: some items don't even need a label! At Petit Picotin, many back-to-school essentials are directly personalized with your child's first name. School bag, pencil case, water bottle or even a snack box… each of these essentials becomes unique and easily recognizable. No more mix-ups in the playground or at the cafeteria: the name is already beautifully printed on the accessory. A practical way to get ready for school, while giving your child items that reflect who they are and that they'll be proud to take with them every morning.
